Tiziana Pontillo è Professore Associato di Indologia presso il Dipartimento di Filologia, Letteratura e Linguistica dell’Università di Cagliari

It deals with the proceedings of the Cagliari edition of a Rotating International Indological Seminar, which promotes a constant scientific cooperation  among the Indologists of  five European Universities, namely  Charles University of Prague, University of Milan, Jagiellonian University of Cracow, University of Warsaw and University of Cagliari. The selected topic is the heroic warrior/ascetic way of life, targeted on the achievement of a god-like status, i.e. on the divine access to Heaven, as it has been depicted in the ancient, medieval and modern India.
